Jeff MacCheyne Personal Training

Jeff MacCheyne is an Honours Graduate from the University of Toronto who has also received accreditation from the Canadian Fitness Professionals Association as a Certified Personal Trainer.

I have worked as a Certified Personal Trainer for over 20 years, 13 of which were well spent at the Mayfair Lakeshore Racquet & Fitness Club where I successfully worked with a wide variety of people to help them toward their health and fitness goals.

 

My recent practice has specialized on helping active, 35+ years old people improve their posture, mobility, stability, strength, and movement for pain free active living and sports participation. As such, I have received specialized certifications in Fascial Stretch Therapy (Essentials), Functional Movement ScreenTPI Certified Golf Fitness Level 2, and Functional Gait Assessment Level 1. These certifications have given me the tools to baseline, evaluate, and strategize the best corrective exercise plan for my clients.

 

I also enjoy working with alot of pre and post rehabilitation clients to help them recover from injuries and surgeries. I work closely with health care practitioners to complement their therapies to help speed up clients’ recoveries and their return to play.

 

My wife and I live an active lifestyle and I especially enjoy road cycling, hiking, and strength training in the gym.
